According to Helmer Rosero Muñoz's report, seven personas were baptized recently in Valparaiso (about 65 miles from Santiago). With the new converts a new church was established in that town. The photo shows one of our new brothers in Christ. We appreciate Helmer and Pedro Sánchez, two brothers who work hard for the Lord in their country. In December I will be with them to do a seminar and to get to know them personally.

Las iglesias de Chihuahua les saludan
This small group of smilling faces represents part of the Church of Christ in the Mexican city of Chihuahua. This Sunday brethren representing all the city's congregations met together. It was pure joy for me to be with them and deliver the message that evening. The Calle 80 congregation was chosen for such a meeting. We all rejoiced together and glorified God. May God bless all of you in Chihuahua!

De reo a defensor - Luís
For several years that I visited Tamara, a prisión unit outside Tegucigalapa (Honduras), Luís Mejía was one of the inmates. Through much study and prayers Luís was converted and soon after, through Baxter Intitute's extension courses he graduated as a minister of the gospel. Now that he is free, Luís preaches for the Inserción Church of Christ, which meets in Guanacazte, a congregation in Tegucigalpa. Thanks to God's grace, which allows people such as Luís to start life all over again.

Nuevos líderes en la iglesia de Torreón
On the first picture we see the new elders for the Madero church, Torreón, México, whose names appear above. Also the new deacons. These are men chosen by the Holy Spirit and elected by the Madero church to serve that church family. Press on, brethren!

Predicadores de Tegucigalpa, en Honduras
These men have been chosen by God to take the gospel of Christ to the city of Tegucigalpa, Honduras. There are about 16 congregations in that a city and most of them work together in campaigns, city-wide worship assemblies, prison visitations, radio and television broadcasts. It was an honor for me to have been with them April 23-27 sharing from God's word, encouraging them and being encouraged from these beloved brothers. It is high time we quit fighting each other and together start fighting Satan. Lou Seckler

Familias cristianas
There are in Mexico several Christian families who help enrich God's Kingdom in their country. Here we see the Estradas: Jose Luis, Valentina and their daughters (names listed above). Just as father and mother are dedicated to the church in Monclova, so are all their children. During the Estrada's visit in San Antonio, last weekend, David Mickey, a long-time friend, and I drove down to see them and wish them God's richest blessings. Lou Seckler
