Nuevo Libro para Hispanohablantes

Me informa Alfonso Pastrana, misionero en la hermosa ciudad mexicana de Guadalajara, que mi libro Aprende a Vivir está listo para envío. Son unas 20 lecciones basadas en el libro de Santiago. Empezaremos enviando a las iglesias de Cristo de México. Luego veremos la posibilidad de hacer lo mismo a las iglesias de Cristo Centroamericanas, quizás en un futuro no muy lejano. Nueva congregación en Ahuachapán, El Salvador

El hermano Mario Lara nos comunica que una nueva congregación de la iglesia de Cristo ha empezado en su ciudad. Aqui vemos a los hermanos que colgaban el letrero en el nuevo local de reuniones. Se llamará El Refugio. Un nombre apropiado y congruente con las palabras del Maestro, cuando dijo: "Venid todos que estais cansados y trabajados y os haré descansar". El local de reuniones es nuestro refugio del mundo. ¡Adelante, hermanos! Eso nos trae grandes recuerdos de iglesias que hemos ayudado a iniciar para loar a Dios.

Bro. Mario Lara informs us that a new congregation was begun in his city of Ahuachapán, El Salvador. Here we see the brothers putting up the sign. The new church's name is El Refugio (The Haven), consistent with Jesus' words when He said: "Come all who are weak and heavy laden and I will give you rest." Our meeting places should be havens where we rest from the world. Way to go brothers! This also brings back fond memories of meeting places we helped to start. May this new place be for the glory of our God and Son Jesus Christ.
